STAFFING COORDINATOR

 

Full Time - Ebensburg, PA

Cambria Care Center is a comprehensive skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality whole-patient care. Through its comprehensive onsite services including cardiac, orthopedic, wound and memory support,  our center has come to revolutionize senior care in Cambria County, helping its residents maximize their health, well-being and overall quality of life during these critical elder years. To support this growing community, our center seeks a Staffing Coordinator to provide clerical support for all nursing functions.

Responsibilities

The Staffing Coordinator role encompasses many diverse tasks and responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing and distributes the monthly nurse schedule, and maintaining/communicating updates as they arise
  • Computing nursing care hours on a daily basis, then submitting a monthly report to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
  • Maintaining nursing personnel attendance reports and submitting a monthly report, as requested
  • Determining availability and responding to requests for holidays, vacations and personal days for nursing employees
  • Ensuring adequate staffing in the event of call-offs or other absences
  • Verifying nursing work hours for payroll purposes
  • Updating physician and nursing license records
  • Performing clerical duties as requested by the nursing department

Qualifications

Because of the nature of this role, candidates must have strong computer/office equipment skills as well as strong written and oral communication abilities. This is a fast-paced job, so the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and thrive both independently and in a team setting. 2-4 years experience scheduling employees in a healthcare environment required. Vaccination from covid-19 is a condition for hiring. A high school diploma or GED is required.
