Cambria Care Center is a 301-bed skilled nursing facility located in Ebensburg, PA, Cambria provides both skilled and intermediate care. We retain a caring, professional and experienced staff. Our people take the time to show they care. To support this growing community, our center seeks a Switchboard Operator to assist the center with switchboard functions.

Responsibilities of the Switchboard Operator include:

• Answering telephones, taking messages and screening/directing calls to the appropriate parties
• Answering inquiries according to center policies and procedures

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do demeanor and ability to thrive within a fast-paced team environment. Candidates must be able to use standard office equipment including computers, telephone systems and copy/fax machines, and have at least two years’ experience in a similar/relevant role, ideally in healthcare. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is also required. Vaccination from covid-19 is a condition for hiring.
