Dietary Prep Aide

Full Time + Part Time

*WILL TRAIN - Prior experience preferred, but not required!

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare food daily, as outlined on the weekly menu plan
• Operates various kitchen equipment; blender, oven, stove, stand mixer, etc.
• Monitor or portion control to meet residents’ requests and meet basic nutritional requirements
• Coordinate and participate in serving food
• Ensure attractive presentation of food on the plate before serving
• Identify food and supplies needed for the next weeks’ menus and report to supervisor
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment
• Ensure proper handling, labeling and storage of food for infection control
• Notify manager of malfunctioning equipment or appliances
• Ensure compliance with all state, local and federal regulations
• Assists other cooks/aides when time permits
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Have transportation to and from work
• Enjoy working in a team environment
