Cambria Care Center is a 301-bed skilled nursing facility located in Ebensburg, PA. Cambria Care provides both skilled and intermediate care. We retain a caring, professional and experienced staff. Our people take the time to show they care.

Responsibilities of the Med Tech include:

Providing/Assisting with all daily living activities, as needed by residents
Promoting independence and self-sufficiency through hands-on assistance to residents with ADLs. Administering medications and basic treatments, as appropriate. Obtaining accurate temperature, pulse, respirations and records surrounding intake and output, and delivering prompt, proper incontinence care
Registering accurate heights and weights on admission charts as well as during monthly/as instructed weight checks. Answering call lights and responding to resident requests promptly. Assisting in new nurses/personnel orientation
Assisting with admission including orienting new residents and bringing personal items, as requested. Making residents’ beds, as needed. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Previous resident care experience preferred.

Med Tech candidates must have the ability to read and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Some clerical ability necessary. Must be a team player and able to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships with residents, families and co-workers. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent preferred. Prefer candidates with previous resident care or health care experience. Vaccination from covid-19 is a condition for hiring.
