Coverage Area: Western PA, Ohio, West Virginia

We are currently accepting candidates for a full time Sales Associate to cover Western, PA, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling pharmacy products and services directly to the long-term care industry, specifically the Senior Executives and C-Suite decision maker personnel that require pharmacy services.
  • Use sales techniques to build a network (trade shows & cold calls), seek referrals, seek RFP opportunities, look for unsatisfied customers, and look for contract expirations.
  • Initiate outbound prospecting, qualifying, and contact verification for services utilizing the sales techniques
  • Work in a small team environment but success based on individual performance driving, all prospecting, qualification, sales activities and sales targets in a defined geography or territory
  • Submitting a weekly Sales Activity Report
  • Making contacts and developing relationships with potential clients.
  • Other duties as requested and/or determined
  • Moderate travel will be required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of successful healthcare sales experience selling healthcare products or services,
  • Excellent verbal, written and phone communication skills
  • Sales experience selling to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and CCRCs a must. PACE experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail
  • Ability to make 50+ phone calls and contacts per day and build rapport over the telephone with senior executives and c-suite personnel
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Demonstrated track record of closing sales and building new customer pipeline.
  • Working knowledge of sales force automation and contact management systems
