At the center of our diverse nursing services unit is the RN (Registered Nurse) Infection Control/Staff Development, dedicated to Infection Control and employee orientation and nurse aide training. This requires strong practical nursing skills, management capacity and a deep desire to help both high needs residents and the team of nursing professionals who service them daily.
Responsibilities of the RN (Registered Nurse) Infection Control/Staff Development Nurse include:
Applicants must be a Pennsylvania-licensed RN and have at least one year of experience in long-term patient/resident care. Previous nursing supervisory and/or training background as well as a state certified nurse aide training certification and PA Infection Control certification are highly preferred. Candidate will be required to take the PA Infection Control courses and pass exam within 3 months of hire if not already completed. CPR Trainer Certification a plus but not required. Successful candidates will be expected to pursue self-development opportunities to remain current with professional nursing and management best practices.
