Harmon House is a 109-bed Skilled Nursing Center that offers Specialty Care, Rehabilitation, and Nursing Care on a long or short-term basis. As our center continues to grow and evolve, its commitment to providing non-medical services—specifically, fun, engaging activities—becomes increasingly important.
Restorative programs are a key piece of the centers experience, and the Restorative Nurse is an important part of this growing team. This RN will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance/restorative program for all residents, and will act as a liaison between all medical and non-medical departments.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
The Restorative Nurse will also be expected to be the team lead for the center’s Fall and Restraint Committee, and serve on other panels/committees, as requested.
Applicants must be compassionate, knowledgeable and empathetic, with strong interpersonal skills. A current Pennsylvania RN license and previous resident care experience with specific restorative nursing care training are required, as is a high school diploma or GED.
