LAUNDRY AIDE

Part Time – 6 a.m.-2 p.m. – 1 to 3 days per week including every other weekend

This fast-growing center seeks a Laundry Aide.

Laundry Aide responsibilities include:

• Sorting, washing, drying, tagging, folding and delivering resident clothing and bedding
• Folding linens and stocking laundry carts on the floors throughout the day
• Maintaining laundry carts and equipment
• Following infection control policies/procedures to prevent the spread of illness and disease
• Additional miscellaneous duties relative to the laundry operation

Some heavy lifting of laundry bags  and pushing of carts required as well as interaction with residents.

All applicants must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions, and must display strong communication, tact and interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or GED equivalent and previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.  Candidate must be able to provide driver's license or personal identification card at time of interview and must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
