Greensburg Care Center sits on nearly ten acres and features walking areas and two outdoor courtyards. This modern facility has a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Center, which includes a separate 30-bed Center for the Memory Impaired.Greensburg Care Center is a comprehensive skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality whole-patient care. 

To support this growing community, Greensburg Care Center seeks an experienced Staffing Coordinator to provide clerical support for all nursing functions.

This exciting role encompasses many diverse tasks and responsibilities, including:

• Preparing and distributes the monthly nurse schedule, and maintaining/communicating updates as they arise
• Computing nursing care hours on a daily basis, then submitting a monthly report to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
• Maintaining nursing personnel attendance reports and submitting a monthly report, as requested
• Determining availability and responding to requests for holidays, vacations and personal days for nursing employees
• Ensuring adequate staffing in the event of call-offs or other absences
• Verifying nursing work hours for payroll purposes
• Updating physician and nursing license records
• Performing clerical duties as requested by the nursing department

Because of the nature of this role, candidates must have strong computer/office equipment skills as well as strong written and oral communication abilities. This is a fast-paced job, so the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and thrive both independently and in a team setting. Some experience in a healthcare environment, plus prior employee scheduling work is preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required.
