The Kitchen Supervisor is critical to this mission, and provides hands-on daily work in the kitchen and out, with responsibilities including:
Previous food service experience, Sanitation or ServSafe certification and a high school diploma or equivalent are required for this role. Additionally, candidates must display a strong working knowledge of portion and cost control, nutrition, sanitation and food production, and should be able to apply math, units of measurement and existing knowledge of recipes, preparation, purchasing and safe storage to the day-to-day tasks associated with this role. While not mandatory, the successful completion of an approved food service/dietary managers program is preferred.
