Overview

Greensburg Care Center, which has come to revolutionize senior care in Westmoreland County through its onsite services, is seeking an Administrator to manage its caring team of dedicated staff. This modern facility has a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Center, which includes a separate 14-bed Center for the Memory Impaired.

 

The Administrator will be a key piece of Greensburg’s short and long-term strategic growth and development plan, bringing leadership, guidance, and support across all corners of the organization. The Administrator will be responsible for ensuring quality service, resident/family satisfaction, and ongoing evolution across Greensburg Care Center’s care offerings.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the center staff, supporting, and evaluating progress
  • Directing all daily activities for the administrative support unit
  • Meeting with unit managers regularly to review operating plans and policies
  • Developing a comprehensive assessment procedure for policies and procedures
  • Preparing the annual operating budget for review by Providence’s governing board
  • Promoting interdisciplinary work and connectivity through ongoing meetings, seminars, sessions and cross-departmental projects
  • Leading strong, results-driven public relations/marketing campaigns
  • Liaising with families, residents and staff, as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state and center guidelines and regulations
  • Anticipating safety issues and acting to maintain the safest possible environment for residents, families and staff
  • Other long-term strategic planning projects, as directed by the board

Qualifications

Candidates must be strong leaders with proven managerial, budgetary, and strategic planning skills. Applicants must also have a minimum of three consecutive years of experience as Administrator at a single skilled nursing facility, as well as possess a current nursing home administrator’s license.  We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits options, paid time off, and much more!
