    Full Time 2nd Shift at Assisted Living Facility In Ebensburg, PA


    Amber Hills Assisted Living Facility at Cambria Care Center offers 30 well-appointed assisted living apartments with a variety of comfortable layouts offering an emergency response system color TV with cable, wall to wall carpeting, and more! Amber Hills also offers a secure center for the memory impaired with 29 personal care studios. The environment is secure, self-contained and comfortable. To support this growing community, our center seeks a full-time 2nd shift LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join its ranks. The LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) will deliver quality care to assigned residents to ensure the physical, medical and emotional needs of residents/patients are met.


    Additional responsibilities of the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) include: 

    • Administering quality skilled nursing, in compliance with care plans, physicians’ orders and personal observations
    • Documenting all aspects of residents’ care accurately, concisely and promptly
    • Administering medication and treatments accurately and appropriately, and observing residents’ responses for documentation in patient files
    • Assisting in the evaluation of nursing care effectiveness, and relaying approved communications to families/caregivers
    • Joining physicians on rounds for assigned residents, communicating observations regarding chronic or a change in conditions
    • Training residents and families on areas of wellness and personal care, as instructed
    • Guiding and teaching Nursing Assistants to ensure safe, quality care for residents
    • Aiding residents as needed, or as instructed 


    LPNs must demonstrate sound judgment, professional knowledge and understanding, and display a positive, cooperative resident-first attitude at all times. Candidates must have a Pennsylvania LPN license or temporary practice permit, with at least one year of experience in long-term care or clinical nursing preferred.
