    Inventory Coordinator

     

    Full Time - Aurora

     

    The Inventory Coordinator is part of the Inventory Team; with core functionalities focusing on managing the pharmacy’s perpetual inventory.  This position will work in parallel with the Purchasing and Inventory Specialist. This position will be responsible for reviewing analytical information presented to them and ensuring inventory KPIs are being maintained. This position will be responsible for ensuring inventory is put away timely, recalls are managed, and completion of inventory auditing.  This position will ensure all inventory projects are completed timely and efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for maintaining current inventory management processes
    • Daily monitor of owes at a detailed level. Checks status of each out of stock, reviews why it was out of stock and corrects. Ensures it is refilled timely
    • Ensures ATP machines do not have inactive medications, switches canisters with drug substitutions, and adds canisters during quarterly rebalances
    • Assists in PAR level updates as reported by Purchasing and Inventory Specialist
    • Ensures pharmacy is audited monthly, removes expired medication and inventories
    • Perform and Inventory assessment on all SimpleAccess expired medications
    • Reports pharmacy waste as it pertains to inventory
    • Receives medications and inventory products daily, ensures all are stocked timely
    • Assists in adding medications to each ATP Inventory Manager Database
    • Executes all Cardinal and vendor returns.
    • Reports IV Order to Purchasing and Inventory Specialist daily
    • Checks refrigerator monthly for expired medications
    • Ensures card prepacks are being made and properly recorded
    • Ensures pharmacy has all necessary med cart parts and assists in repairs
    • Assists in CII discrepancy findings
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by management

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Preferred certified pharmacy technician license
    • 2+ year(s) inventory experience, preferably in pharmaceutical field
    • Demonstrated experience required
    • Procurement and Inventory Control background
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Exhibits meticulous work ethic and ambition to preserve quality control
    • Exhibits professional demeanor and ability to work well with others; incorporates Grane Rx core values into daily work
    • Exhibits strong organizational skills
    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical medication and supplies
    • Knowledge of general carriers, such as UPS and FedEx, systems
    • Knowledge of storage skills, such as, refrigerated items, outdates, and hazardous materials
