    Grane Hospice is expanding and searching for a Marketing Assistant to join our Camp Hill, PA office. The ideal Marketing Assistant candidate will have 1-2 years of marketing/sales experience – healthcare highly preferred. This is a great entry level opportunity for someone looking to grow and advance their marketing/sales career in a healthcare capacity.  

     

    The Marketing Assistant role is a critical role at Grane, working with various long term care facilities and community groups to provide resources for those patients and families seeking comfort and support.  

    Responsibilities

    The position has variety of tasks and is dynamic and changing. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

    • Assisting Community Liaisons/Marketers with gathering clinical documentation related to hospice referrals in the community
    • Reports to the appropriate personnel regarding community or patient concerns.
    • Communicates the agency's services and processes to patients and families, as requested and necessary.
    • Follows up regularly with the Community Liaison/Marketers(s) in a given territory to provide updates on referral source and patient needs.
    • Participates in appropriate agency meetings as assigned and attends mandatory staff meetings.
    • Assumes additional responsibilities and special projects as directed by the Director of Business Development.

    Qualifications

    • 1-2 years of marketing/sales experience – prior experience in a health care setting highly preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
    • Due to the amount of  travel required all candidates must be a licensed driver and possess valid car insurance and reliable transportation
    • Applicants should demonstrate a proven ability to establish positive relationships with strong initiative and self-direction
    • Demonstrated experience in coordination of activities, ability to relate effectively with physicians, community agencies, institutions, patients, and families
