    Unique Entry Level MARKETING role for self-motivated professional

     Full Time - Johnstown, PA

    LaurelWood Care Center is a comprehensive skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality whole-patient care. Through its comprehensive onsite services our center has come to revolutionize senior care, helping its clients maximize their health, well-being and overall quality of life during these critical elder years. LaurelWood’s ongoing success relies heavily on incoming referrals and new resident admissions—and at the center of this workflow is the Marketer. This leader will be responsible for marketing the facility through established channels, as well as for identifying and developing new referral systems.


    Additional responsibilities of the Marketer include:

    • Supporting LaurelWood through ongoing marketing support and community outreach, designed to generate referrals and new resident applications
    • Developing an annual marketing program that addresses all available levels of care
    • Prescreening candidates for admissions, and follow through on all inquiries made to the facility
    • Coordinating admissions with relevant medical and non-medical personnel
    • Cultivating positive relationships with discharge planners, insurance companies, case managers and potential referral sources to assure continued resident referrals and the most cost effective care for residents and their families
    • Additional functions, as needed

    This is a very high-visibility position and requires the Marketer to represent LaurelWood in the local community and beyond. As such, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to project a professional appearance and behavior at all times. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to thrive both independently and in a team environment.


    Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with a valid driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation, as local travel is required for this position. Prior sales experience or/and medical backround or schooling are preferred.
