    Fast-Growing Nursing Facility Seeks A STAFFING COORDINATOR for High Growth Role

     

    Full Time - Monday-Friday - Daylight

Through its comprehensive onsite services including cardiac, orthopedic, wound and memory support, Harmon House has come to revolutionize senior care, helping its clients maximize their health, well-being and overall quality of life during these critical elder years.

     

    To support this growing community, our center seeks a Staffing Coordinator to provide clerical support for all nursing functions.

     

    Responsibilities

    This exciting role encompasses many diverse tasks and responsibilities, including:

    • Preparing and distributes the monthly nurse schedule, and maintaining/communicating updates as they arise
    • Computing nursing care hours on a daily basis, then submitting a monthly report to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
    • Maintaining nursing personnel attendance reports and submitting a monthly report, as requested
    • Determining availability and responding to requests for holidays, vacations and personal days for nursing employees
    • Ensuring adequate staffing in the event of call-offs or other absences
    • Verifying nursing work hours for payroll purposes
    • Updating physician and nursing license records
    • Performing clerical duties as requested by the nursing department

     

    Qualifications

    Because of the nature of this role, candidates must have strong computer/office equipment skills as well as strong written and oral communication abilities. This is a fast-paced job, so the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and thrive both independently and in a team setting. Past experience in a healthcare environment, plus prior employee scheduling work is required. A high school diploma or GED is required.
