Staff Development Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN)

Full Time - McKeesport, Pa

Riverside Care Center is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full time, Monday-Friday, daylight position with a background in education and training for a Staff Development Coordinator role. This position will also teach the CNA training course and Train-the-Trainer in this is preferred.

While, often, no two days are the same, daily responsibilities of the Staff Educator Registered Nurse (RN) will include:  

• Responsible for the orientation of newly hired nursing personnel to the facility and ensuring required pre-employment screening be completed, including scheduling physicals, TB testing, etc., and maintains records of screening results
• Provides training on new equipment and products
• Coordinate and keep records of in-services and training that meet Federal, State, Local and JCAHO regulations and requirements
• Responsible for nursing department Performance Improvement activities and presenting PI data at quarterly meetings
• Other responsibilities as assigned
