Expanding Pharmacy Company Seeks a Full Time and Part Time Pharmacy Nurse Consultant for the Maryland/DC/Eastern PA Areas
The Pharmacy Nurse Consultant position is a vital member of the Grane Rx pharmacy team. In this position, the chosen candidate will serve as an essential customer liaison. Additionally, this important position involves working with the pharmacy and facility to develop, implement and maintain pharmacy related programs through education, customer service, and quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will also work to promote pharmacy services.

LTC and PACE pharmacy solutions from Grane RX are currently available in four states.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this opportunity rich opening include the following:
-Supporting and educating nursing staff in GRx customer settings
-Acting as a customer liaison between nurses and pharmacy and billing team members
-Providing education and facilitating communication with nursing staff
-Conducting educational programs related to pharmacy services and IV infusion therapy.
-Defining, refining and implementing quality improvement programs within the facility
-Performing periodic audits and maintaining accurate, timely and comprehensive records of facility activity
-Delivers the Grane Rx Brand Promise – Pharmacy Made Simple
As a key team member, the Pharmacy Nurse Consultant also regularly communicates with appropriate facility corporate consultants and pharmacy management. Successful candidate should expect to participate in Grane Rx consultant departmental meetings, and assist with marketing and business developments. Pharmacy Nurse Consultant also assists with transitioning and maintaining new business, technology and pharmacy operations. Travel, including overnight travel, is a component of this position. Excellent communication skills, computer literacy are additional requirements.
It is preferred that candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing school for Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, or hold a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or an allied health field. Candidates should be licensed to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the servicing states or eligible to meet licensure; CRNI, CNSN, Train the Trainer Certification or ANA certification is a plus.
