At the center of this movement is the Center Manager, a vital role that works directly with the Executive Director to facilitate the coordination of all cross-departmental services, to ensure the most comprehensive and highest quality care for all Senior LIFE members.

Responsibilities

 The Center Manager is one of the most wide-reaching and influential roles within Senior LIFE, overseeing a host of critical internal and external functions, spanning strategic planning and implementation, staff and member support, human resources and general administrative responsibilities, plus significant hands-on work with caregivers and program participants.

  • Coordinate and facilitate center activities tied to care planning, including all preparations for daily interdisciplinary meetings and family conferences
  • Supervise, assist, and support clinic, transportation, home care and scheduling teams, including, RNs, and Unit Coordinators
  • Assist intake with new member enrollment tasks, including initial assessments and care plan review meetings, and schedule twice-annual reviews for each member
  • Interview, hire, and provide ongoing evaluations for Senior LIFE clinic staff
  • Manage necessary overages and monitor schedules including PTO, overtime and RN on calls, maintaining maximum efficiency and appropriate levels of coverage

The Center Manager is a true connector within the organization, overseeing broad interdepartmental teams who represent diverse interests and needs. As such, candidates should have significant management experience and the strong communication, organizational and team-first attitude that inspires others and elevates their own personal performance. Given Senior LIFE’s position at the forefront of a revolutionary healthcare movement, the Center Manager will be a high-profile, highly influential player within current and future planning, development, and the overall evolution of the center and the organization as a whole.

Qualifications

Interested applicants should have at least five years of management experience, with at least two years in a managerial role within a geriatric care facility or program. Candidates should possess a BS in a healthcare related field,  plus a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
