Customer Care Associate

 

Grane Rx is seeking multitaskers that enjoy change in their daily work routine to adapt to changing workflow/tasks due to customer needs for our open Customer Care Associate role. This position does require you to be at your computer keying in orders for the majority of your shift. Our Customer Care Associate is an ideal opportunity for multitaskers that like to keep busy: answering phones, triaging faxed documents to appropriate team, following up on backups and STATs and coordinating with pharmacists and other team members as needed.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

  • Triage fax queue using (ECM) – assign to appropriate queue after making sure all pertinent information is contained on document i.e., facility name, resident name, physician name, etc.
  • Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls from internal and external customers, triage issues/questions and direct to appropriate areas if unable to resolve/answer. Spends 85% of shift available to take call (logged into Oaisys).
  • Make outbound calls to facilities and other pharmacies as needed
  • Identify and escalate priority issues to Pharmacist In Charge
  • Create a profile for new admissions after making sure that resident profile does not currently exist for a readmission
  • Document all call information that requires action by Team Member
  • Discharge Meds – organize workflow to ensure that discharge summary is faxed to facility in a timely manner
  • Sort and scan Inspector Reel Sheets to FW: Document queue
  • Follow procedures, guidelines/SOPs to ensure compliance is maintained.
  • Any other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have a minimum of a high school diploma with relevant work experience, computer skills working with various systems, customer service skills, phone etiquette, strong typing/keyboard skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability and willingness to learn new things. Because our pharmacy is open 24/7 candidates must be willing to work between the hours of 6am-10pm Monday through Friday, 6am-7:30pm Saturdays, and possible Sundays. We are open on holidays, but work on a rotation. Due to the nature of this position you must have reliable transportation due to the possibility of staying past your shift time
