As part of this exciting expansion, Senior LIFE seeks a hardworking, dedicating and compassionate Member Assistant to join its facilities team. This important role works to ensure all facilities are properly maintained, under the direction of the center’s Facility Manager. This includes managing timely repairs, proper safety and delivering well-maintained conditions for all members.
Senior LIFE York is committed to enhancing the ability of seniors to stay at home and live safely in the community as long as possible by coordinating comprehensive healthcare and supportive services for our members.
Senior LIFE is an innovative program that uses a team approach to provide seniors in the local area with medical, social, nutritional and rehabiliation services. These services are provided at the Senior LIFE York center and are accompanied with in-home nursing care, personal care, and other homecare services as needed. Senior LIFE makes it possible for seniors to remain at home, enjoying the comfort and reassurance of familiar surroundings while receiving the care they need.
Senior LIFE is a Medicare Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) operating as a LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly) program in the state of Pennsylvania.
The successful Member Assistant will be an independent worker, able to manage problems as they arise. Ongoing responsibilities include:
A positive, friendly attitude, ability to prioritize, strong organizational skills and a passion to help others is essential to this role. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED to be considered. Experience in a health care environment is preferred, but not required.
