Overview

Scheduling Coordinator

Due to rapid growth, Grane At Home is currently accepting applications from candidates who are organized, focused, and outgoing for a Scheduling Coordinator role in their Pittsburgh office. The focus of this position is connecting with clients and caregivers to ensure home care service visits are properly scheduled and documentation is completed and returned.

While a four year degree is preferred, two years of previous experience with scheduling in a healthcare setting is a must. Candidates need to be comfortable using computers as an EMR is used to track employee time, activity, client, and billing records. This is an ideal position for a CNA looking to take the next step in their career as previous experience in direct patient care is required.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Home Care service visits by arranging available and appropriate caregivers in a timely manner.
  • Establish a relationship with caregivers to identify strengths, weaknesses, and preferences
  • Work with Recruiters and Client Relations Liaison/Manager to establish hiring needs
  • Ensure caregivers complete and turn in log sheets, time, and mileage (when appropriate) in a timely manner and review for accuracy and correctness
  • Maintain appropriate communication with clients, their families, field and office staff when necessary
  • Work closely with Client Relations Liaison to obtain and maintain complete and accurate client and employee information
  • Exhibit good listening and comprehension skills to identify sensitive, complex or unusual concerns.
  • Assist with on-call and call offs

Qualifications

All candidates must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order as some travel is required. A physical with a TB and drug screen will be administered as part of the hiring process.
